You can help protect the Grange through how interact with it and through broader actions that support conservation in the Headwaters Region.
- While visiting the Grange people can help protect it by staying on trails, picking up after their dogs, carrying out what you’ve brought in and if you can helping pick up litter. It’s also always a good idea to maintain a respectful distance to wildlife, for their safety and yours.
- More broadly you can support the Grange’s efforts to remove invasive species and to support restoration and conservation in Shaw’s Creek. Limiting inputs of household contaminants to our watershed including oil and salt that washes from driveways, as well as fertilizers and pesticides that can wash in from lawns and gardens all help to protect the animals and plants of the Headwaters Region.
